Sharon Saker has worked in the conveyancing industry for thirty two years. Fifteen years as a Law Clerk at a Solicitors office in Hastings where she attained the knowledge and understanding of conveyancing and its fundamentals.

After the birth of her first child in 2000, Sharon established her own conveyancing business in 2001 and became a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (Vic Division).    In July 2008 the Victorian Government introduced licensing and the Business Licensing Authority granted her licence on 14 August 2008.

Consumer Affairs Victoria now regulates and administers the rules of professional conduct to ensure a high standard of conveyancing is maintained.   Sharon has now returned to her home town of Hastings and awaits the opportunity to offer her specialised conveyancing service and expert advice.



The first step to selling your home apart from choosing your estate agent is to provide a Vendors S32 Statement as soon as possible so you are in the  best possible position to negotiate an offer with a prospective buyer. We can prepare the statement within 24 hours.


Once contracts have been signed  between both parties the agent will send to our office and we continue the sale process which includes any discharge of mortgage over the property with your  current bank or finance company to meet the settlement date.


Buying property is a very exciting time but you  need to ensure all matters relating to the contract  including any special conditions are met within the time frames specified.  We have the legal experience to check that all paperwork is in order and provide ongoing advice throughout the transaction.


If you have decided to Auction your property instead of selling privately we can prepare the formal contract of sale and provide prospective buyers with all the current information about the property.


We are able to guide you through the steps of the subdivision process. We consult with your Surveyors direct and comply with the Land Titles Office checklist and requisite documents.


Any transfer of ownership, be it between husband & wife or perhaps a survivorship application will be handled with care and compassion and at an affordable cost.


We can assist with stamp  duty concessions if you are eligible, whether first home buyers or a pensioner.  State Revenue Office is now digital with the Duties Online System offering a much more streamlined process with no paperwork or numerous forms to sign.


Verification of Identity forms part of a mandatory requirement when dealing in a conveyancing transaction and must be adhered to.  We can offer you in office verification or provide you with the necessary forms to lodge at Australia Post for a fixed fee.


Matrix Conveyancing is a registered member of PEXA.  For a small fee you are guaranteed your sale funds on settlement date. State Revenue and Land Titles Offices are linked with PEXA and most major banks are registered members.  It becomes mandatory in 2019.  Ask for a brochure.
